Over half of Brits have had sex in their cars
National Car Wash week is coming soon and while one in five UK drivers admit to cleaning their car less than once every six months, it’s not just the cars that are dirty.
Is that a coke bottle I can feel?
Despite Britain’s cars resembling rubbish bins, 60% of Brits have revved up the passion in their motors, wiggled around the handbrake and gearstick and had sex in a car. We have no idea how the National Car Wash Association came up with 60% as the number, but we know that we certainly have got down and dirty in a number of cars over the years, and we are not ashamed to admit that we know plenty of others who have got jiggy in their cars too.
So why are so many people’s cars so messy? Maybe it’s because we spend so much time in our motors – the average driver spends over three weeks a year sitting in their motor – that we let our cars get so dirty.
Needs Rubbing Down
So, guys, if you want to have fun in your cars over the next few weeks, we suggest you clear out any rubbish from those nooks and crannies, remove any stubborn stains, give the leather a buffing, wash the bodywork caringly and thoroughly with lots of soapy suds, apply some spit and polish and give the whole thing a good rub down.
To finish off, make sure all your nuts and bolts are tight and the gearstick is shiny.
One final thing – if you are going dogging don’t forget to put a pack of tissues in the glove box for anything else that may need tidying up.
