Dogging is becoming so mainstream now it is popping up in those Agony Aunt columns that you find in the red top newspapers. Today May 3rd, there is a letter from some poor girl seeking advice from the Daily Star’s Agony Aunt – Just Jane.
Here is the abridged version of the letter, with Jane’s reply.
Every Saturday night I babysit for my boss and her husband, and every Saturday he and I have sex in his car on the way home. His wife always insists that he drives me back, but we’ve got into a habit of taking a detour into a car park for a romp on the back seat.
It’s a popular dogging spot, but there’s rarely anyone there when we pull up after midnight. He puts his hand on my knee and says: “How about it?” And then we have steamy, grunty sex. This has been going on for about five months now and I don’t really know what it means or where it’s leading.
I’m 19 and like sex. I don’t have a boyfriend right now and so this old guy is quite handy. He’s not revolting, but I don’t particularly fancy him either. It’s bit like a having a greasy kebab on the way home from a drunken night out – it seems like a good idea at the time but makes you feel a bit sick and guilty in the morning.
I’ve been working for my boss in her clothes shop for a year. She’s not a great payer so the babysitting money comes in handy. I don’t think she has the slightest idea that her precious husband is having sex with me. She’s always going on about what a great guy he is. I once heard her say that she trusts him because he’s always truthful and would never cheat. That’s a laugh. Do you think he actually likes me or is just a user?
Taking Advantage
Agony Aunt Jane replies….
You claim that having sex with this man is quite handy, but it’s not healthy. You have no relationship with him. What you have is sneaky, sordid and very grubby.
Is this guy using you? Yes, he’s certainly taking advantage of the situation. But you’re a willing partner and you’re using him too.
So there you have it – an Agony Aunt telling a young girl she is being used. What a surprise.
