British film star Robert Pattinson has told how his love of cycling once led to him being caught up in a police raid at a dogging site.

The softly spoken 26 years old hunk, who recently split from Kristen Stewart over her cheating, revealed how he used to ride his bike through an area of Los Angeles where strangers met up for sex. He told American chat show host Jimmy Kimmel “I used to turn up at this parking lot looking at everyone like: ‘Why are all these guys sitting around in their cars all the time?’ I’m going there every day kinda thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little Lycra pants, and one day there was a big raid.”
The Twilight star was left red faced when he realised that the place he cycled to regularly was a notorious local dogging site for people looking for casual sexual encounters with strangers. He said he had been totally clueless until police stopped him for questioning.
