Braintree MP Brooks Newmark stood up for the rights of doggers after local residents complained about doggers meeting up for sex in a local layby.

Multi millionaire Newmark defended the doggers rights saying: “The police aren’t in a position to do anything about dogging unless these people are causing distress.”
Newmark is known as a controversial character and in the past has said “I think as long as you stick to the rules, that’s what it’s all about”.
This is the same Mr Newmark who during the recent expenses scandal was exposed as having claimed £64,000 from the public to cover “the rent” of his Bradwell constituency home between 2005 and 2008.
