Well known dogging spot Tylers Common on Nags Head Lane in Havering has been declared a high priority area for Havering Council’s parks team! They now want to “keep an eye” on the area and are busy trimming bushes.
Local Councillor Andrew Curtin said: “The area is now on a high priority for the Parks Protection Team and the Park Ranger Service and we have cut back the shrubs that secluded the car park.”
Whilst some locals would see this as a strange way of their council tax being spent in this way, some are pleased the bushes are being trimmed, giving people a better view of what is going on.
Local resident Perry Robinson, 19, who lives on a nearby farm, said: “For many years now it was a well known place to go dogging.
“Once I saw a man pulling up his trousers and getting back in his car. Another time my aunt saw two at it and they just carried on.”
