Latest Dogging News Flash:- According to the Welywn Hatfield Times, sordid sex romps have been taking place in woodland on the Brocket Estate, in the shadow of the stately home.
Brocket Hall is a famous historic house set in some 500 acres of parkland in the Hertfordshire countryside and it is used as a setting for corporate conferences, exhibitions, product launches and so on – and it is also a popular wedding venue, and now according to the local rag it is a very popular dogging spot!
The local paper investigated and found that “littered amongst the trees and bushes, were scores of condom wrappers, a discarded Viagra packet, and two mattresses”
A local resident got in touch with the paper to confirm the goings on and suggested that the local police should “Try patrolling that lay-by on Marford Road that backs onto Brocket Park.” He continued “The footpath down to the river and the woods are littered with sexual paraphernalia.”
Brocket Hall’s general manager John Keating admitted he was powerless to stop people gaining access to the area telling the local paper: “The police are aware of this area, and although we do not own the lay-by area and cannot stop people accessing the estate via the footpaths, we work with the police as and when they request to help deter this issue.”
The local police have put up bright yellow warning signs, with a police spokesman stating: “Police conduct regular patrols and have posted signs in the area in order to discourage anti-social behaviour.”
If you want to check it out yourself, and make use of the mattress, track down the B653 Brocket Road outside of Welywn Garden City. This road becomes Marford Road and you are looking for a layby that leads into Brocket Woods.
