A dogging couple had a very lucky escape when their car nearly toppled over into an alleyway 60 feet below.
The couple from Changsha, Hunan province in China, had driven to a rooftop car park and were enjoying a romantic clinch at the time.
They decided to keep the engine running so they could use the air conditioning to the keep the car cool inside.
However, in the heat of the moment, Qiao Hou got tangled up and accidentally kicked the automatic car into reverse, sending it lurching backwards crashing through a barrier and towards a very scary 60 feet drop.
Qiao Hou thought quickly and pulled on the handbrake and miraculously the car stopped just in time – and very much like the coach at the end of the Italian Job, the car was left dangling precariously on the precipice.
Rumour has it that 43 year old Hou’s girlfriend, Lili Tang, was not impressed when he asked her “Did the earth move for you, darling?”
A lucky escape – yes, and hopefully it will make you make sure you never get yourself tangled up with gear sticks and handbrakes in your car.
