Dogging in Berkshire

This is the most up to date resource on where you can find places to enjoy dogging in Berkshire.

Reading Dogging

  1. Good old Prospect Park, leading off Tilehurst Road is the place to head for. You may well find people in the woods as well as the car parks. The woodlands are good both day and night, although do steer clear of the public toilets, as these are strictly gay only.
  2. You have two places to try in Woodley. (1) A smallish car park just near the Aviation Museum, very near Bader Way and (2) another car park as you go towards Twyford.

Newbury Dogging

Greenham Common is without doubt the place, as it has many lay-bys. If you can't see any doggers at first, don't give up, just keep driving around, sooner or later you will probably come across some action.

Slough Doggers

  • The sombre sounding Black Park on the Slough to Uxbridge Road is a pretty good location, and if you are adventurous find Strawberry Wood deep in Black Park itself. We have been emailed to check out the paths leading off from the car parks as these are also popular for woodland fun.
  • There is a very large unlit car park at Church Lane, off Stoke Poges Lane, which is ideal for dogging fun, and it tends to attract an open minded bunch.

Maidenhead Doggers

Head for the car park at Winter Hill, near Cookham Dean.

Thatcham Doggers

There is often action both in the car park and in the woods that overlook Thatcham, just off the windy road going from Bucklebury to Chapel Row.

Windsor Dogging

  • Windsor Great Park - where else? There is a pretty large car park on the left from Windsor, and also the last car park on the right. Oddly they tend to be busier during the day than night. Do not expect a huge crowd though.
  • At the side of the racecourse, there is action to be had in the park by the riverbank, just past the Windsor Lad Harvester "pub and restaurant."

    • We do not list dogging locations in Ascot, as for reasons beyond us, this tends to attract gays rather than heterosexuals. Bracknell has plenty of woods, but no dogging locations to our knowledge. Odd really, but then again, there are a number of good sites within a short drive, so take your pick from the list above, or check out some of the neighbouring counties.
